Christmas in June!

Received a lovely present this month – the U.S. and U.K. covers for TUDOR CHRISTMAS TIDINGS, the novella anthology being released in October, 2020. Amanda McCabe and Jenni Fletcher are my fellow authors and each of us chose to set our tales in the reign of a different Tudor monarch.

“Christmas At Court” is my contribution and I could not resist tying the story to a Royal Wedding. This time, the wedding is the one that created the Tudor Dynasty by uniting Lancaster and York, the Red Rose and the White.

But that wedding was no sure thing and neither is that of my hero and heroine. Sir John and Lady Alice are bound together, but in a court teeming with scandal and deception, neither is certain that the other can be trusted. Life, death, and the future of the country depend on the answer.

In “Secrets of the Queen’s Lady” by Jenni Fletcher, the lady-in-waiting to Anne of Cleves is unexpectedly reunited with a handsome—younger—diplomat at the palace’s festivities! And in “His Mistletoe Lady” by Amanda McCabe, Catherine seeks help from a mysterious Spaniard to free her father in time for Christmas!

The book will be released in October in the United States and the United Kingdom, both in print and e-book format.  (Actual on-sale dates vary, with some editions available in September.)
